About Us
     

All American Foods was established in April of 1988, under the name of All American Meats & Seafood Inc.

Leon Panteleos purchased the company called Medeiros Meats, which handled a variety of meat and deli items. At the time of purchase the company was running out of a residential garage with a 10x10 refrigerator and a 6x6 freezer and annual sales were about 240,000.

   
  In 1999 the company moved to north Kingstown RI, where it purchased land and built a 50 thousand sq. ft. multi temp building with the ability to off load rail. and a 60X300 ft. refrigerated dock. In 2003 the company changed its name to All American Foods and expanded to nearly double its size. In 2006 All American Foods completed a freezer addition, which doubled its freezer capacity.
   
  Key Points in History of All American Foods

April 1989
1st move to a 1,000 sq. ft building with a 12x8 walk in freezer and a 18x8
walk-in refrigerator.

Feb. 1993

  1. 2nd move to a 2,500 sq. ft building with a 20x40 sq. ft walk-in freezer
    and a 20x40 sq. ft refrigerator. Both single level.

  2. The luxury of having the first loading dock.

  3. Surpassed 5 million in sales.

March 1996
Expanded double the size of the refrigerator and freezer capacity. The
total space was 4,500 sq. ft on a single level.


Dec. 1999

  1. 3rd move to One All American Way in North Kingstown RI. The 50,000
    sq. ft facility has 5 levels of racking, rail off loading, and a 60X300 ft.
    refrigerated dock.
  2. Surpassed 20 million in sales.

April 2002

  1. Changed name to All American Foods.
  2. Expanded building to nearly double its size
  3. Fleet 24 straight trucks and 4 tractors


Sept. 2006
Expanded freezer capacity to double.

Presently looking for next location, current property is not large enough for future
growth.


All American Foods has experienced tremendous growth within a base of 750 customers and 8,000 sku's since the move of 1999. We are presently looking for another location to expand to. The current location is almost maxed out. Our commitment to customer service and success will continue to pave the way for future growth.
